South Merrill Community Garden educates and promotes a sacred space for the health and wellbeing of the intergenerational members of our community through gardening, engagement and accessibility to nature’s bounty.
Garden Highlights
- 360°gardening education and participation: seeding, planting, cultivation and harvesting
- Community members may harvest as much as they need for their families at $0 cost. South Merrill Community Garden has become a beacon of light in addressing food security within the South Shore Community

We facilitate community engagement by:
- Progressively teaching cultivation and eco-friendly gardening skills.
- Serving as a positive role model as a community garden and collaborative partner in the South Shore community.
- Being a communal compass where all are welcomed and appreciated, promoting healthy eating as we nurture our community through love and nature.
